International Print Day spreads message of positivity

Print Solutions

Twitter delivered some 12,180,941 impressions on International Print Day 2019 as thousands of Tweets were sent around the world. This year saw #IPD19 trending in both the UK and the US.

This year once again, your friends here at Print Solutions gave up the day to spearhead the UK arm of International Print Day, covering social media with messages, information, knowledge and great examples of spectacular print.

We joined our graphic arts friends from around the world to spread a message of positivity about print.

International Print Day is a 24 hour social media event, to emphasise the industry’s love for, and dedication to, print and paper, highlighting the creativity, importance and power of print and paper in the lives of everyone, not just those involved in the industry.

Now in its sixth year, this year’s theme was #Print2Gether, which celebrated partnerships within the industry and all the relationships from idea to execution that enhance the creativity, quality, and vitality of print.

The wonderful Deborah Corn, principal at Print Media Centr in the US and founder of International Print Day, said: ‘Participation on International Print Day has generated 123,833,356 impressions on Twitter since we began celebrating our global love for print marketing in 2014. We have seen sharing from six continents, through every time zone on this planet.’

And, once again we had a sharing of knowledge, facts, creative ideas and some fantastic fun!
