The British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) has teamed up with Atlantic Print Solutions to offer its members a comprehensive print breakdown and warranty insurance service. The cover is designed to get the BPIF members back into production quickly following any machinery breakdown or accidental damage at a competitive monthly premium.

The policy covers a wide range of machinery including pre-press, wide format printers, sheetfed presses, web presses, digital presses and print finishing equipment. It also covers the repair or replacement costs of any part or component that may have suffered a breakdown. The policy provides cover for the reimbursement of repair costs or adjustments costs for a mechanical, electrical or electronic part or component breakdown, failure or is burnt out.

Atlantic Print Solutions has over 20 years experience in printing equipment and machinery breakdown, the insurance does not lock print companies into a contract and enables them to secure a fixed 12 month premium, regardless of the number or value of any claims. Printers also have the flexibility to choose whether to use the manufacturer, their own approved repairers or to use one of Atlantic’s recommended nationally based independent and experienced product service centres.

Inclusive in the Atlantic cover is all labour costs, parts and component costs and engineers travelling costs.
