Colpac: adding value through sustainable packaging solutions

Packaging Solutions

Sustainability is at the forefront of the packaging industry and media headlines, driven by evolving legislation and consumer awareness. This ongoing change can be challenging to follow and manage, however, working with an experienced manufacturer like Colpac can make this journey easier.

As a manufacturer with a pioneering product development business model, Colpac has an agile production facility to accommodate a variety of processes and technologies. This enables the development of exciting packaging for diverse foods from all over the world, catering for different regulations, consumer tastes, waste streams, and sustainability practices in each region.

The company’s recently launched Stagione bowls are a fantastic example of innovative paperboard packaging. They have an innovative bowl shape to maximise product visibility and value perception, and to differentiate products in food service and retail outlets. The bowls, along with the entire Stagione range, are manufactured from mixed FSC certified board, meeting recyclability levels across the globe. At this year’s Packaging Innovations show, Colpac will be showcasing three sizes of its Stagione bowls, including its newest addition of 600 ml.

Sustainability is a long term challenge that will continue to be at the forefront of customers’ and consumers’ decisions for the foreseeable future. The company’s extensive range of recyclable and compostable products are designed to consider all points within the supply chain, and it is committed to its design and manufacturing base in the UK.

Colpac will also be exhibiting its FSC certified multi food pots which are now manufactured at its UK factory. As part of its commitment to sustainability, the company has invested heavily in new machinery and processes to enable UK manufacturing. This aims to offer a more sustainable solution to customers as it removes the extra carbon footprint of importing finished goods. It has the added benefits of a shorter, UK based supply chain and the company’s quality assurance in manufacturing.

‘We are delighted to be exhibiting at this year’s Packaging Innovations show and are very much looking forward to meeting with our valued customers and showcasing our new recyclable solutions.’ said Neil Goldman, CEO.

The team will be on stand K62.
