GB Mail, an Aylesbury based high volume mail and print company, has invested in two Norwix inkjet systems, supplied by Engelmann & Buckham (E&B). These systems have been integrated into GB Mail’s existing paper wrapping lines, significantly improving production efficiency, reducing ink costs, and underscoring the company’s commitment to continuous investment and innovation.

Founded in 2017 by Gary Leonard-Pepin, Ben Taheri and their partner Joseph Ghadami, GB Mail has built a resilient and adaptable operation. Over one million items are mailed per week across a balanced mix of envelope enclosing and paper wrapping. The company employs a strong team of 28 skilled operatives, many of whom have been with the business long term, maintaining a high standard of service and machine uptime.
The new inkjet systems – comprising the Norwix UC22 HP TIJ 4.0 and Norwix MPP4 HP TIJ 2.5 – have already proven transformative.
‘The new inkjet systems on the paper wrapping machines have enabled us to smash all previous production records,’ said Gary Leonard-Pepin. ‘Previous jobs that would have taken four days can now be completed in just two and a half. We wish we had made the move sooner.’
The decision to upgrade stemmed from GB Mail’s desire to demonstrate a continued commitment to its customers and modernise its production lines.
‘We have invested in new equipment from day one,’ said Gary. ‘These latest additions help us deliver faster, more cost efficient solutions – exactly what our clients need.’
Engelmann & Buckham has now installed over 25 Norwix systems across the UK, replacing many outdated continuous inkjet systems in mailing and print operations.
‘GB Mail exemplifies a forward thinking business that truly understands the value of investing in efficiency,’ said Richard MacLean, sales director at E&B. ‘We are proud to support the company’s growth with proven Norwix solutions.’
