Stationers launches new apprenticeship initiative

The Stationers’ Company and Ravensbourne will launch an exciting new apprenticeship initiative on 27 June 2018 at Ravensbourne University. The Deputy Mayor of London for Business, Rajesh Agrawal, will attend.

Thirty companies and 400 students will come together to raise awareness of apprenticeship opportunities and to create long term links between academies across Greater London and employers in our Industries.

Participating companies range from BBC, ITV, Pearson and Google to The Evening Standard, Park Communications, Paragon Whitehat and Barclays.

Existing apprentices and staff from each of the 30 companies will set up a stall and students will have discussion slots based on a speed dating model.

This is part of a long term ambition to increase opportunities for students in Greater London and will be repeated in future years and other parts of the country. The objective is to reinforce the strengths of apprenticeships and the life chances they offer young people.
