Solopress celebrates 2,000,000th order

Print Solutions

Southend based printer, Solopress has celebrated producing its 2,000,000th order after almost 20 years in business, marking the occasion by giving away a £1200 tech bundle to one lucky customer. Nearly two years on from becoming a part of the Onlineprinters group, Solopress has gone from strength to strength, recently appointing Simon Cooper as its new managing director to head the company.

Hitting this latest milestone has been a huge success for the business which has had rapid growth over the past 14 years. A large part of Solopress' success can be attributed to its quick turnaround times – the company delivers around 77% of jobs within 24 hours and is supported by 19,000 customers who have rated it as 'Excellent' on Trustpilot.

Aron Priest, co-founder of Solopress was especially proud of the company's latest achievement saying: ‘Setting up the business 20 years ago, we could never have dreamed of the levels of success we have had. Every year we push the boundaries further and further and our 2,000,000th order is another achievement for the company of which I am immensely proud. It is a representation of our presence in the market, our commitment to our customers and the result of having a hard working team behind you.’

The lucky winner The winner of the competition was Cyclepods, which provides cycle parking solutions worldwide, recently completing a sizeable project for London Midland. ‘I didn't order specifically to win,’ said Ellie Blackman, marketing manager for Cyclepods. ‘We have been using Solopress for around five years now because of the turnaround times. The tech has already been put to good use, sprucing up our work environment. It is a great start to 2019 for Cyclepods and a sign of a great year ahead.’
