Wide Format Solutions
Adapt has announced that it will host a series of interactive open days in April, showcasing the latest in 3M film products and technologies.
From 4 to 6 April, 3M will take over the company’ training centre in Nottingham to stage six free to attend events, allowing visitors to get up close and personal with the solutions for applications such as architectural wraps, window graphics and vehicle wraps.

Those in attendance will be able to see high quality 3M products in action first hand, as well as speak with knowledgeable staff about the solutions and pick up hints and tips on how to get the most out of the films.
Products that will feature across the three days include a preview of a new series offilms, further details of which will be announced in the coming weeks.
Visitors can also view the IJ180 Series, including both the 3M IJ180mC-10 film with a pressure activated, grey, permanent adhesive and 3M Series IJ180mC with a micro comply adhesive which has hidden air release channels.

Other highlights will include the 3M wrap film series 2080set of durable and coloured cast films for wrapping vehicles. Available in a wide range of colours in 1.524 metre wide rolls, the range creates a truly distinctive look and a sleek appearance for vehicles.
Another vehicle wrap film being showcased will be Envision 480 wrap film, comprising the LX-480MC and SV-480MC, both of which are non PVC film options with permanent adhesive that are versatile enough to wrap around vehicles, trailers and boats. Also part of this range is 3M Envision 48-20, a film with a permanent solvent adhesive for indoor and outdoor signs and fleet graphics.
Also promoted will be DI-NOC Architectural Finishes, which features a wide range of decorative surface finishes available in more than 300 designs.
Aside from this, visitors will have the opportunity to view a number of products from the 3M range of window films. These include Dichroic Glass film DF-PA Blaze, which appears to change colour when viewed at various angles, as well as the 3M day/night film that produces the appearance of dark graphics during the day, and white or colour graphics during the night.
Also within the window films range, 3M 7725 314 Dusted Crystal film transforms plain glass, capturing the look of sandblasted or etched glass to an astonishing degree. Made from durable and flexible polyester materials, these permanent, pressure sensitive films have a transparent synthetic liner for the easy cutting of logos or designs.
According to Kris Owen, training centre and fleet sales manager at Adapt: ‘We are delighted to work in partnership with 3M to showcase its leading range of films for multiple applications at our class leading training facility in Nottingham.’
Amy Cattanach, channel manager from 3M, added: ‘Having a media that you can trust and being at the forefront of the latest technology has never been more important in today’s competitive market. We look forward to meeting new customers and showcasing our innovative graphics solutions over three full days.’
