Ashgrove offers a wide selection of tearproof/water resistant materials for large format digital including several new ranges. The materials are also kinder to the environment, as all the products are PVC free.
For aqueous/water based inkjet – pigment inks:
Cordillera Tyvek: This coated 135 g/m2 spun polyolefin is incredibly strong, completely tearproof and remarkably water resistant and scratch resistant when printed with pigment inks.
Glacier Polyproplylene: Glacier coated polypropylene is highly cost effective, environmentally friendly and also tear resistant and water resistant.
Scafell Printable Textiles: These polyester printable textiles are incredibly tough and durable when printed, great for a variety of purposes!
Comng soon is Enduro tear resistant inkjet paper: This treated double sided inkjet paper has a polypropylene core making it tear resistant and water impermeable, even though it feels like normal paper. It is ‘erfect for maps and charts, and certified for HP Pagewide XL.
New Glacier-Apply Self-adhesive polypropylene: This version of Glacier PP has a semi-permanent adhesive for easy application and removal to a variety of flat surfaces.
Lomond Self-adhesive Repositionable Textile: This is effectively Scafell textile with a repositionable adhesive backing, great for an incredible variety of applications including curved surfaces. It can be reapplied many times without damaging walls.

Icicle Polypropylene: Icicle coated polypropylene is highly cost effective, environmentally friendly and also tear resistant, scratch resistant and water resistant.
Torridon Printable Textile: Torridon polyester printable textiles are incredibly tough and durable when printed, great for a variety of purposes!
