Estate agents safe as houses thanks to Dragon Signs
Diversification to meet the demand for protective equipment to tackle the risk of Covid-19 in workplaces has seen a series of contract wins for Dragon Signs.
Among the first companies to benefit from Cardiff based Dragon Signs’ manufacturing agility was Connells Group, one of the country’s largest estate agency networks. The two organisations joined forces to ensure the safety of all Connells Group’s staff and customers as the company reopened its 600 branches following lockdown.
Protective equipment delivered to Connells Group included shatterproof, polycarbonate sneeze screens and desk dividers, health and safety stickers and floor directional stickers, as well as CE approved category three full face visors.
Rhys Harrington, director of Dragon Signs, said: ‘It is thanks to the flexible way our company operates that when the pandemic hit earlier this year, our teams were quick to adapt and utilise our in-house facilities to produce this vital equipment.
‘It is safe to say that 2020 hasn’t been what we had envisaged but I am proud that by thinking creatively we have been able to transform our business, protect jobs and produce vital equipment that will enable organisations to keep going at this incredibly challenging time.’
