Where The Trade Buys launches visitor pods

Print Solutions

The latest creation from online upload and print platform Where The Trade Buys will help care home residents stay in touch with their loved ones.

The company has produced a whole host of health and safety solutions aimed at keeping people safe everywhere from the office to schools.

And, its latest addition to the range is aimed at providing much needed contact between care home residents and their families and friends – in a safe and secure way.

With the news that rapid testing in care homes is a government priority, the hope is that in the near future people will be able to reconnect with their relatives.

And to help in this aim, Where The Trade Buys has created a special pod, which will create a shielded environment but still allow people to meet up in person.

The pods are made from Correx board and with a clear, Perspex screen that will protect the residents and with space on which bespoke safety messages can be printed.

Gary Peeling, CEO of Where The Trade Buys, believes the pods are a safe and practical way to deal with the challenges of families being able to stay in touch.

‘The care home industry has been hit particularly hard by Covid-19 and part of that has been residents not being able to see their loved ones,’ he said. ‘Safety always has to come first but we hope with this latest addition to our health and safety range, we have come up with a solution which will allow families to get that little bit closer.’
