It Has to be Brilliant managing director Simon Tabelin along with City Images managing director Grant Wickham have announced the merging of their two businesses.

Both companies operate from London premises and produce high end, large and small format print, branded creative, collaterals and specialise in retail display and installation throughout the UK and EU, along with technical online services for a number of blue chip accounts.

Simon said that both companies will continue to run jointly for the foreseeable future.

Both businesses have the same ethos, of providing first class ‘in-brand’ design, print, installation and international brand control across Europe and the UK to the highest standards.

Grant said, ‘Brilliant and City have grown up together. Simon and I have worked together for near on 30 years, so the merge is just a natural progression of our long term plans. It opens up avenues of revenue for both companies, as City Images has a strong production team, with roll to roll and flatbeds and Brilliant is renowned for its creative studio and high quality production using innovative technologies.’

The two teams have been brought together, making 32 people over four sites – Camden, Mayfair, Watford and West Hampstead.

Simon said, ‘We have doubled our capacity for production and reduced turnaround time to hours instead of days.

‘Together with our strong team of designers, printers and installers, we are now one of the largest providers in Central London. With a combined turnover in excess of £5 million per annum.’
