Mark James joins Sparc Systems as general manager

Mark James has joined food machinery supplier Sparc Systems as general manager.

Following the retirement of Sparc managing director David Buckley in June, Mark will be taking the helm, overseeing general sales and business improvements, with a focus on new markets.

Mark brings over 25 years’ experience to the role, including successful tenures in global roles at Xerox, OCS Checkweighers and Yamato.

About his appointment, Mark said: ‘Sparc is at the forefront of food production technology and intelligent systems development and I am delighted to join the leadership team.

‘I am looking forward to contributing to Sparc’s important work in improving sustainability in the industry and introducing innovative products that build on this commitment.’
