Taylor Brothers bolsters its folder portfolio with a new BH66 Stahlfolder

Finishing Solutions

Bristol based Taylor Brothers has invested in a new Stahlfolder BH66 6/4 and stacker. The company has a long standing relationship with Heidelberg and the order follows on from last year’s investment in two Polar 92 guillotines. The agreement also includes a Print Site contract, the Lifecycle Smart version, which comprises supply of consumables for the press (an XL75-5 L) coupled with a service support contract.

‘We needed to look at our folding capacity and our first port of call was Heidelberg. We spent a lot of time on the specification of the folder with its team of experts and, now the machine is in and running, it has proved that we ordered the right machine with the right company,’ said Tim Thorne, production director at Taylor Brothers.

Nigel Millen, managing director of Taylor Brothers, added: ‘Our long standing relationship with Heidelberg always helps. On this agreement we have also started to use its consumable products on the press and this has worked perfectly; excellent support and the online shop makes ordering really easy!’

The Stahlfolder BH66 reduces throughput times, enabling quick and flexible response even during order peaks. This means that the machine can accommodate additional capacity for producing high quality folded products at any time. Its ease of operation makes it suitable for producing a wide range of printed material, from books to commercial products like flyers.
