Two Sainsbury’s awards – a first for leading communications company

Paragon Customer Communications (PCC) one of the world’s leading communications companies, has become the first company to be presented with two supplier awards in the same year by Sainsbury’s Group.


The awards, which are presented to businesses that show supplier excellence, were for ‘Job of the Year’ and ‘Outstanding Customer Service’. The former was for work completed on the Sainsbury’s Christmas rewards programme, while the latter was for outstanding customer service.



Senior print and publications manager Kelly O’Sullivan at Sainsbury’s said: ‘Sainsbury’s Group uses the awards to recognise supplier excellence. KPIs are used to score each and every print job we place, with the best suppliers acknowledged each year for their great work, customer service, quality and/or flexibility – all the things we value in our suppliers.’


She added, ‘We believe it is important to recognise when things go well and not simply flag things when they go wrong.’


Nick Barbeary, director of consumer and commercial brands at Paragon Customer Communications, said: ‘We are honoured to be the first company to receive two prestigious awards from Sainsbury’s Group in the same year. Working together we delivered a number of exciting multichannel projects in 2020.


‘Everyone throughout the PCC team understands the importance of always putting the customer at the heart of everything we do. It is only by doing this that we can hope to achieve such positive award wins of this kind.’
